Travel ED RN in Martinsville, IN

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will care for patients in an ambulatory emergency department for a 13-week contract in Martinsville, Indiana. The unit has 17 beds, sees about 40 visits per day, and uses Cerner. It serves neonates through geriatrics and handles all ESI levels, including chest pain, stroke, MI, cardiac arrest, and minor trauma.

• Triage patients across all ESI levels
• Assess and stabilize emergency patients with chest pain, stroke, MI, trauma, and respiratory symptoms
• Start and maintain IV access and administer ordered therapies
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, ABGs, and blood product support
• Assist with BiPAP/CPAP, ventilated patients, and procedural sedation
• Manage central lines, isolation precautions, and transfer coordination

• Indiana Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• 1 year of Emergency Department experience
• Emergency department triage, IV therapy, and cardiac monitoring skills

• Cerner charting system experience
