Travel ED RN in Independence, MO

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in an acute care hospital emergency department on a 6 week contract in Independence, Missouri. The unit has 40+ beds, uses Meditech, and sees high-volume patients with 4:1 staffing in some rooms and hall beds.

• Assess emergency patients and prioritize care
• Start IV lines and obtain blood samples
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret changes
• Support resuscitation and urgent interventions
• Administer treatments and medications as ordered
• Document care in the electronic record

• Active Missouri Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI certifications
• Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program

• High-pressure emergency department experience
• Previous medical experience as RN, medic, or technician
• Adaptability in fast-paced settings
• Team-oriented communication under pressure
