Travel ED RN in Independence, MO

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide care in a hospital emergency department on a 13-week contract in Independence, Missouri. The unit has 40+ beds, uses Meditech, and works at 4:1 assignments in a high-volume setting with cardiac monitoring and ultrasound support.

• Assess and prioritize emergency patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret EKGs
• Start IVs and obtain blood samples
• Support emergency interventions and resuscitation care
• Coordinate care with the team
• Document assessments, treatments, and patient responses

• Missouri Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI
• Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program
• Adaptability in fast-paced emergency care
• Teamwork in a high-acuity unit

• High-pressure emergency department experience
• Previous experience as RN, Medic, or Technician
