Travel ED RN in Independence, MO

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide care for emergency patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Independence, Missouri. The unit has more than 40 beds, 4:1 ratios, and uses Meditech for charting. Cardiac monitoring, EKGs, ultrasound, and rapid infuser support acute care delivery.

• Assess and prioritize emergency patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret EKG findings
• Start IVs and obtain blood specimens
• Assist with emergency interventions and stabilization
• Document assessments, treatments, and patient responses
• Collaborate with physicians and the emergency care team

• Missouri Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI certification
• Adaptability
• Team player

• High-pressure emergency department experience
• Previous medical experience as RN, medic, or technician
