Travel ED RN in Independence, MO

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide care in the emergency department on a 13-week contract in Independence, Missouri. The unit has 40-plus beds, 4:1 ratios, high-volume flow, and Meditech charting in an acute care hospital.

• Assess emergency patients and prioritize care
• Initiate IV access and obtain blood specimens
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and EKGs
• Support resuscitation and stabilization with emergency equipment
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
• Document care accurately in Meditech

• Current Missouri Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI certifications
• Adaptability and strong team-player skills
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

• High-pressure emergency care experience
• Previous medical experience as RN, medic, or technician
