Travel ED RN in Independence, MO

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a hospital emergency department on a 13-week contract in Independence, Missouri. The 40-plus-bed unit uses Meditech, with about 4:1 ratios and cardiac monitoring equipment for rapid patient care.

• Assess and treat emergency patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and report changes
• Start IV lines and obtain blood specimens
• Assist with emergency procedures and resuscitation
• Document care in Meditech
• Collaborate with the team in a fast-paced unit

• Current Missouri Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC and CPI certifications
• Adaptability and strong teamwork skills

• High-pressure emergency care experience
• Previous medical experience as RN, Medic or Technician
