Travel ED RN in Independence, MO

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide care for emergency patients in a hospital on a 13-week contract in Independence, Missouri. The unit has 40+ beds, uses Meditech, and sees about 4:1 patient flow in higher-volume areas.

• Assess emergency patients and respond to changes in condition
• Start IV lines and collect blood samples
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret EKG findings
• Use cardiac monitors and emergency equipment during care
• Support rapid intervention for unstable patients
• Document care in the electronic medical record

• Missouri Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI
• Adaptability and teamwork in a fast-paced emergency setting

• Previous high-pressure emergency care experience
• Previous medical experience as a nurse, medic, or technician
