Travel ED RN in Independence, MO

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in an acute care hospital on a 6-week contract in Independence, Missouri. The unit has 40+ beds, a 4:1 ratio in high volume, and uses Meditech.

• Assess and stabilize emergency patients
• Initiate IV access and phlebotomy
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms
• Assist with trauma and resuscitation care
• Use cardiac monitors, EKGs, ultrasound, rapid infusion support, and IO equipment

• Missouri Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI
• Adaptability and teamwork in a fast-paced emergency setting

• High-pressure emergency care experience
• Previous medical experience in a clinical role
