Travel ED RN in Houston, TX

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a 28-bed hospital emergency department in Houston, Texas on a 13-week contract. The unit uses Meditech Expanse and supports ventilators and Baxter IV pumps. Patient ratios are 1:4.

• Triage patients and prioritize care by acuity
• Provide direct emergency nursing care to patients with acute conditions
• Monitor vital signs and reassess patients for changes in status
• Start IV access and administer ordered treatments and medications
• Assist with intubation and central line procedures
• Support resuscitation, stabilization, and emergency response efforts

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS or ENPC
• Emergency department patient care experience
• Emergency response skills
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
