Travel ED RN in Houston, TX

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a free-standing emergency department in Houston, Texas on a 13-week contract. The unit has 9 beds, a 4:1 ratio, and uses Meditech Expanse charting.

• Perform emergency assessments and triage
• Start and maintain IV access
• Assist with EKGs, ventilator support, and BiPap care
• Administer medications and support acute treatment plans
• Monitor patients and respond to changes in condition
• Draw and process point-of-care labs

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• 2 years of recent emergency department experience in a medium to high volume ER
• ACLS, PALS, CPR, and TNCC
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
