Travel ED RN in Houston, TX

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a hospital emergency department during a 13-week contract in Houston, Texas. The unit has 28 beds, uses Meditech Expanse, manages 1:4 ratios, and cares for patients needing ventilator support and IV therapy.

• Assess patients with urgent and emergent needs
• Assist with intubation and central line procedures
• Monitor cardiac and respiratory status
• Administer emergency medications and IV therapies
• Operate ventilators and IV pumps
• Collaborate with the care team to stabilize patients

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS or ENPC
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program
• Emergency department patient care skills
• Emergency response skills
