Travel ED RN in Farmington, CT

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Farmington, Connecticut. The role is based in the emergency room unit and supports fast-paced acute care for emergency patients.

• Assess emergency patients and prioritize care
• Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and EKG findings
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and ordered treatments
• Assist with resuscitation, stabilization, and emergency procedures
• Coordinate care with physicians and the interprofessional team
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses

• Current Connecticut Registered Nurse license
• 2 years of emergency department experience
• 1 year of prior travel experience in the emergency department
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and CPI
• Basic dysrhythmia interpretation and EKG competency
• NIH Stroke Scale competency
