Travel ED RN in Eureka, CA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Eureka, California. The unit is level 3 trauma, pediatric-approved and uses Epic, with 20 rooms, 26 beds and an average daily census of 105. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Triage emergency patients across all age groups
• Assess, stabilize and monitor acute conditions
• Administer medications, IV therapy and blood products
• Assist with airway management, procedural sedation and trauma care
• Support psychiatric, stroke and overdose emergencies
• Document care and coordinate with the care team

• California Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS and TNCC
• 1 year of emergency department experience
• Emergency triage, IV start and dysrhythmia skills

• ENPC
• Experience with pediatric, behavioral health and trauma emergencies
• Community hospital experience
