Travel ED RN in Easley, SC

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Easley, South Carolina. The unit serves neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics, with 28 beds, 20 rooms and about 110 visits per day.

• Provide emergency nursing care for patients across the lifespan
• Triage and prioritize patients based on acuity
• Administer emergency medications and monitor for response
• Start and maintain IV access, obtain blood samples and support phlebotomy needs
• Interpret dysrhythmias and assist with cardiac monitoring
• Apply isolation precautions and maintain PPE standards
• Coordinate care with respiratory therapy, radiology and social services

• Active South Carolina Registered Nurse license or multistate Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, CPI/MAB, NIHSS and PALS certifications
• 2 years of emergency department experience
• Emergency medication administration, phlebotomy, IV start and maintenance, dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

• TNCC, ENPC and NRP certifications
• Triage experience
• Trauma, stroke and behavioral health experience
• Ventilated patient, chest tube and procedural sedation experience
