Travel ED RN in Conroe, TX

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a hospital emergency department in Conroe, Texas on a 13-week contract. The unit has 30 physical beds, 8 hall beds and a 1:4 patient ratio, and it uses Meditech for charting. Care includes cardiac monitoring, ventilator support and rapid infusion equipment.

• Assess emergency patients and prioritize care
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to clinical changes
• Assist with IV access, blood draws and medication delivery
• Support moderate sedation, stroke care and rapid infusion workflows
• Document care and treatments in the charting system
• Collaborate with the care team to maintain safe patient care

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS and TNCC certifications
• Compassion and empathy
