Travel ED RN in Columbia, MO

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide adult emergency care in a fast-paced, 16-bed unit on a 13-week contract in Columbia, Missouri. The department manages a high admission volume and about 25,000 visits a year with a 1:3-4 patient ratio.

• Assess and prioritize adult emergency patients
• Monitor and stabilize patients with stroke, STEMI, sepsis, respiratory, cardiac and orthopedic conditions
• Obtain 12-lead EKGs and interpret telemetry
• Manage IV access and central lines
• Support procedural sedation, CPAP/BiPAP, ventilator and trach care
• Provide cardioversion and defibrillation support
• Communicate with the care team and families with strong customer service

• Active Missouri Registered Nurse license
• ACLS and BLS/BCLS certification
• 3 years of Emergency Department experience

• 3 to 5 years of Emergency Department experience
• Experience with chemical dependency
