Travel ED RN in Boerne, TX

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a freestanding emergency center on a 13-week contract in Boerne, Texas. The unit has 15 treatment rooms, two trauma/cardiac care rooms, four observation beds, and Meditech charting. It serves patients with chest pain, injuries, stroke symptoms, pediatric illness, and other urgent needs.

• Assess and prioritize emergency department patients
• Stabilize patients with cardiac, respiratory, neurologic, and trauma emergencies
• Assist with stroke, STEMI, pediatric, and urgent care cases
• Monitor patients in treatment and observation areas with telemetry
• Prepare patients for imaging, laboratory testing, and transfer
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient response in Meditech

• Active Texas Registered Nurse license
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH certification
• 2+ years of emergency department experience
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
