Travel ED RN in Bloomington, IN

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency nursing care in an acute care hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Bloomington, Indiana. The 53-room department sees neonates through geriatrics, averages 150 patients daily, and uses Cerner charting.

• Triage patients and prioritize emergency care
• Assess and monitor patients across the lifespan
• Initiate and maintain IV access and administer blood products
• Support ventilated patients and continuous IV sedation care
• Interpret dysrhythmias and respond to rhythm changes
• Assist with stroke, trauma, and other urgent emergency interventions

• Indiana Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
• 2 years of emergency department experience
• Cerner charting system experience
• Blood product administration, ventilated patient care, continuous IV sedation, dysrhythmia management, and triage skills

• Level I or Level II trauma center experience
