Travel ED RN in Apple Valley, CA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will care for adults and older adults in an emergency department holding unit during a 13-week contract in Apple Valley, California. The unit manages high-volume telemetry and stroke patients with Epic charting.

• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond to changes in cardiac status
• Provide care for adults and geriatric patients with stroke and cardiac conditions
• Administer IV therapies, blood products, and protocol-driven medications
• Manage central lines, PICCs, ports, chest tubes, feeding tubes, tracheostomies, and drains
• Support oxygen therapy and non-invasive airway needs
• Collaborate with rapid response and interdisciplinary support teams

• California Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• 2 years of emergency department or telemetry experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation, and stroke care skills
• IV access, line care, blood product administration, and non-invasive airway support skills

• ER holding experience
• Charge nurse experience
• Teaching, community, LTAC, or trauma level I or II experience
