Travel CVOR Tech in Reston, VA

A Travel CVOR Tech Certified Surgical Technologist will assist with cardiac and vascular cases in an acute care hospital CVOR on a 13 week contract in Reston, Virginia. The unit has 2 rooms, a 1:1 ratio, and uses Meditech Expanse for charting.

• Scrub or circulate for open heart, CABG, MVR, TVR, AVR, VATS, and vascular cases
• Set up the room with supplies, instruments, disposables, and positioning equipment
• Assist with sterile technique and maintain a clean operative field
• Prepare central line and art line setup as needed
• Set up and operate Belmont and cell saver equipment
• Complete room turnover and support team communication

• Certified Surgical Technologist credential
• BLS certification
• CVOR scrub and circulate skills
• Sterile technique, central line setup, and art line setup skills
• Experience with Belmont and cell saver setup

• CNOR certification
