Travel CVOR Tech in Columbia, SC

A Travel CVOR Surgical Technologist will scrub cardiovascular and vascular cases in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Columbia, South Carolina. The unit serves adults and geriatrics in a small surgical setting with five rooms and six beds. The role supports careful safety checks and hands-on teamwork during procedures.

• Scrub cardiovascular and vascular cases
• Assist the nurse in the room as needed
• Maintain sterile technique throughout procedures
• Prepare instruments, supplies and the sterile field
• Support specimen handling, labeling and time-out checks
• Track mesh measuring and foreign-object safety checks

• BLS certification
• NBSTSA certification
• 2 years of CVOR experience
• Completion of a Surgical Technology program or U.S. Armed Forces Surgical Technologist training
• Aseptic technique, radiation safety, sharps safety and specimen handling
• Universal Protocol and time-out procedure knowledge

• ACLS certification
• Trauma Level I experience
• Charting system experience
