Travel CVOR Tech in Everett, WA

A Travel Cardiovascular Operating Room Surgical Technologist will assist with cardiothoracic and general OR cases in an acute care hospital in Everett, Washington on a 13-week contract. The 18-room unit serves adults and geriatrics, averages 55 surgical cases daily, uses EPIC, and is in a Level II trauma center.

• Prepare the operating room and sterile field for cardiothoracic and general cases
• Assist with CABG, valve, thoracic and laparoscopic procedures
• Scrub for cardiothoracic cases and support the surgical team during procedures
• Handle instruments, case carts, specimens and sharps safely
• Reprocess flexible endoscopes and support scope care
• Maintain aseptic technique and follow universal timeout procedures

• BLS certification
• Washington state registration
• 2 years of CVOR experience
• Cardiovascular, general OR and laparoscopic surgical experience
• Aseptic technique, sharps safety and specimen handling

• NBSTSA certification
• Flexible endoscope reprocessing
• Bronchoscope, EGD scope and EBUS experience
• Robotic, thoracic and adolescent case experience
