Travel CVICU RN in San Antonio, TX

A Travel CVICU Registered Nurse will provide critical care for cardiac patients in a cardiovascular intensive care unit in San Antonio, Texas on a 13-week contract. The unit uses Meditech and cares for patients needing invasive monitoring and support after chest tubes, intubations, and line placement.

• Monitor hemodynamic status and respond to changes in condition
• Manage critical care therapies for high-acuity cardiac patients
• Assist with chest tubes, intubations, central lines, and arterial lines
• Perform assessments, medication administration, and Meditech documentation
• Maintain NG tubes, Foley catheters, and dressing changes
• Collaborate with the care team on complex ICU plans

• Active Texas Registered Nurse license
• 2-3 years ICU experience
• ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Certification
• Strong critical thinking skills

• Meditech experience
• MICU or MSICU background
• IABP exposure
• CRRT exposure
