Travel CVICU RN in Kingwood, TX

A Travel CVICU Registered Nurse will provide critical care nursing in a neuro cardiovascular intensive care unit in Kingwood, Texas on a 13-week contract. The acute care hospital unit has 22 beds, uses Meditech, and maintains a 1:2 ratio. Equipment includes CRRT, ventilators, arterial lines, and circulatory support devices.

• Monitor critically ill cardiovascular and neuro patients
• Manage pressor infusions and critical drips
• Assess arterial lines and invasive hemodynamic data
• Assist with bronchoscopy, CVC insertion and arterial line insertion
• Support CRRT, ventilator care and circulatory support devices
• Respond to patient changes and coordinate with the care team

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS
• Critical care training
• Pressor medication management
• Arterial line management
• Critical drip management

• Circulatory device experience
