Travel CVICU RN in Corpus Christi, TX

A Travel CVICU Registered Nurse will provide critical care in a cardiovascular ICU in Corpus Christi, Texas on a 13-week contract. The 24-bed unit cares for high-acuity cardiac patients with 1:1 or 1:2 ratios and uses advanced cardiac support equipment.

• Assess and monitor high-acuity cardiovascular ICU patients
• Assist with intubation, central lines, bronchoscopy and other invasive procedures
• Manage ventilators and advanced cardiac support devices
• Support hemodynamic monitoring, including Swan catheters, ICP monitoring and EVD care
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team on pacers, bolts and critical changes
• Document care and respond to rapid changes in patient condition

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS
• ACLS
• ICU experience
• Excellent customer service skills

• Level 1 or 2 trauma experience
• CV surgery experience
