Travel CVICU RN in Fort Worth, TX

A Travel CVICU Registered Nurse will provide critical care for adult cardiac patients in an acute care hospital in Fort Worth, Texas on a 13-week contract. The unit cares for a 2:1 patient ratio and uses Meditech charting. Care involves hemodynamic monitoring and advanced cardiac support.

• Monitor hemodynamics and report changes in cardiac status
• Assist with ventilator management for critically ill patients
• Manage arterial lines, central lines, and chest tubes
• Support CRRT, Impella, and Swan Ganz care
• Provide postoperative CABG recovery support
• Collaborate with the care team in a cardiac intensive care setting

• Active Texas Registered Nurse license
• 2 years of critical care experience in adult ICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU, or related critical care specialty
• Ventilator experience
• Arterial line, central line, and chest tube management skills
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

• CVICU-specific experience with CABG recovery
• CRRT and Impella experience
• Meditech experience
• BSN and CCRN
