Travel CVICU RN in Great Falls, MT

A Travel CVICU Registered Nurse will provide care for cardiac critical care patients in a hospital on a 13-week contract in Great Falls, Montana. The role supports immediate open heart recovery and other high-acuity cardiac cases. Care includes advanced monitoring and support for invasive lines and ventilatory needs.

• Provide direct care for hemodynamically stable and predictably unstable cardiac patients
• Monitor immediate post open heart recovery and other cardiac surgical cases
• Assist with invasive lines, chest tubes, multiple IVs, and ventilatory support
• Assess for changing conditions and respond with established critical care interventions
• Coordinate care with providers and the interdisciplinary team
• Support discharge planning and patient education
• Precept new staff and support clinical leadership as needed

• Current Montana Registered Nurse license with BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• 2 years of experience
• Recent critical care and open heart recovery experience
• Basic cardiac telemetry and EKG interpretation

• Critical care, CVICU, and open heart experience
