Travel CVICU RN in Great Falls, MT

A Travel Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for immediate post-operative open heart patients in a cardiovascular intensive care unit on a 13-week contract in Great Falls, Montana. The unit has 10 beds and higher acuity cardiac patients, with expanding cardiac services.

• Monitor hemodynamically stable and unstable cardiac patients
• Provide immediate post-operative open heart recovery care
• Assess for changing conditions and respond quickly
• Manage central lines, arterial lines, chest tubes, IV pumps, and ventilatory support
• Support discharge planning and patient education
• Collaborate with providers and assist with precepting staff

• Active Montana Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Recent critical care experience
• Recent open heart recovery experience

• CVICU experience
