Travel CVICU RN in Fredericksburg, VA

A Travel Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for adults in a mixed MICU/SICU/CVICU at an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Fredericksburg, Virginia. The unit uses Epic charting and provides Level II trauma care. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor hemodynamics and cardiac rhythms
• Manage arterial lines and vasoactive drips
• Care for ventilated and CRRT patients
• Administer blood products and support transfusions
• Assist with recovery for trauma, open heart, and TAVR patients
• Support bedside procedures and complex critical care needs

• Active Virginia or compact Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• 2 years of ICU or cardiovascular critical care experience
• Level II trauma center experience
• Teaching hospital and community hospital experience
• Strong dysrhythmia, arterial line, and drip management skills

• TNCC and CSC
• Ventilator management and ABG interpretation
• Procedural sedation, chest tube, and pulmonary artery line monitoring
