Travel CVICU RN in Overland Park, KS

A Travel Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide cardiac critical care in an acute care hospital in Overland Park, Kansas on a 13-week contract. The 10-bed unit uses Meditech, averages 2:1 staffing, and manages advanced cardiac monitoring and support devices.

• Monitor telemetry, hemodynamics, and frequent site and vital sign changes
• Titrate vasoactive infusions and positive inotropes as ordered
• Assist with chest tube care, pacemaker management, and pericardial drains
• Support recovery for cath and EP lab patients
• Participate in open-heart procedures and ECMO cannulation
• Collaborate with unit support staff to deliver cardiac critical care

• Kansas Registered Nurse license
• ACLS and BLS, or ALS and BLS
• ICU nursing experience
• Strong cardiac critical care assessment skills

• CVICU experience
• Charge nurse experience
