Travel CVICU RN in Burlington, MA

A Travel Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide advanced critical care for post-surgical and medically unstable patients in a hospital setting on a 26-week contract in Burlington, Massachusetts. The unit cares for patients recovering from complex heart, lung, and vascular surgery, with 24-hour monitoring, EPIC charting, and level 1 trauma support.

• Monitor hemodynamic and respiratory status
• Assess post-operative cardiothoracic patients for changes in condition
• Administer and titrate critical care therapies and medications
• Coordinate care with surgeons, intensivists, and the care team
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in EPIC
• Respond to changes in cardiac rhythm and clinical status
• Support patients recovering from heart, lung, and vascular surgery

• Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS
• 2 to 3 years of critical care experience, including 2 years in CT/CVICU
• Travel Registered Nurse experience
• Advanced dysrhythmia competency
