Travel CVICU RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel CVICU Registered Nurse will care for critically ill cardiac patients in a hospital unit in Asheville, North Carolina on a 13-week contract. The 16-bed unit uses Cerner and typically staffs 2:1 or 1:1 assignments, with complex hemodynamic monitoring and advanced cardiac support.

• Titrate vasoactive and vesicant infusions
• Monitor ventilated patients, trachs and telemetry
• Interpret hemodynamic data and PA catheter readings
• Support cardioversion and transvenous pacing
• Assist with chest tube care and maintenance
• Collaborate on care for critically ill cardiac patients

• North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• ICU experience
• Strong telemetry interpretation skills
• Hemodynamic monitoring experience
• PA catheter interpretation skills
• Ventilator and tracheostomy care experience

• CCRN
• IABP experience
• Impella experience
• CRRT experience
