Travel CVICU RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel CVICU Registered Nurse will care for cardiac critical care patients in a hospital CVICU on a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The 16-bed unit uses Cerner and typically supports 2:1 or 1:1 ratios with occasional higher-acuity assignments.

• Monitor and respond to critically ill cardiac patients
• Titrate vasoactive, sedative, and paralytic medications
• Support mechanical ventilation and tracheostomy care
• Interpret telemetry, hemodynamics, and PA catheter data
• Assist with IABP, Impella, CRRT, and hypothermia support
• Participate in cardioversion and other unit procedures
• Document care and changes in Cerner

• Active North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• ICU experience
• Critical care medication titration skills
• Mechanical ventilation and hemodynamic monitoring experience

• CCRN certification
• IABP, Impella, and CRRT experience
