Travel CVICU RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide direct care for critically ill cardiac patients in a hospital in Asheville, North Carolina on a 13-week contract. The 16-bed unit uses Cerner and typically staffs 2:1 or 1:1 patient care with advanced cardiac support equipment.

• Deliver bedside care to critically ill cardiac and cardiovascular patients
• Titrate vasoactive, sedative, paralytic, and vesicant infusions
• Monitor ventilated and tracheostomy patients
• Interpret telemetry, hemodynamic trends, and PA catheter data
• Assist with cardioversion, transvenous pacing, and bedside procedures
• Manage chest tubes and advanced cardiac support devices

• North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• ICU experience
• Critical care skills with ventilators, tracheostomy care, telemetry interpretation, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Experience with PA catheter setup and interpretation
• Experience titrating vasoactive, sedative, paralytic, and vesicant infusions

• CCRN
• IABP, Impella, CRRT experience
