Travel CVICU RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for critically ill cardiac patients in a hospital on a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. It serves a 16-bed CICU with 1:1 to 2:1 ratios and Cerner charting. The hospital is a Magnet-designated, Level II trauma and comprehensive stroke center.

• Monitor hemodynamics and rhythm changes
• Titrate vasoactive, sedation, and paralytic infusions
• Manage ventilators, tracheostomy support, and invasive lines
• Assist with IABP, Impella, and CRRT care
• Support cardioversion, chest tube, and central line procedures
• Interpret telemetry and assess complex cardiac patients

• Active Registered Nurse license in North Carolina
• ICU nursing experience
• Hemodynamic monitoring and vasoactive drip management skills
• Ventilator, tracheostomy, and telemetry interpretation skills
• Experience with critically ill cardiac patients

• CCRN
• IABP experience
• Impella experience
• CRRT experience
