Travel CVICU RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for critically ill cardiac patients in a hospital in Asheville, North Carolina, on a 13-week contract. The 16-bed unit uses Cerner, commonly staffs 2:1 or 1:1 ratios, and sits within a Magnet-designated hospital and Level II trauma center.

• Monitor hemodynamics and telemetry
• Titrate vasoactive, sedative, and paralytic infusions
• Manage ventilated and tracheostomy patients
• Interpret PA catheter data and assist with invasive line care
• Support cardioversion and other bedside procedures
• Coordinate care for mechanical circulatory support and CRRT patients

• North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• ICU experience
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Strong hemodynamic monitoring and telemetry skills
• Ventilator, tracheostomy, and vasoactive infusion experience

• CCRN
• IABP experience
• Impella experience
• CRRT experience
