Travel CVICU RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel CVICU Registered Nurse will provide critical care for cardiac surgery patients in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The 19-bed mixed CVICU/CVRU uses Cerner charting and typical ratios of 1:2 or 1:1 based on acuity.

• Monitor hemodynamics and assess post-cardiac surgery patients
• Assist with IABP, Impella, and LVAD support
• Manage chest tubes and pacer wire removal
• Support intubation and extubation care
• Promote frequent ambulation and recovery
• Collaborate with the cardiac critical care team

• North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS
• Critical care training
• 2 years of CVICU or CVRU experience

• Certification in Critical Care, Cardiac Surgery, or Recovery Room care
