Travel CVICU RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide critical care for adult cardiac patients in a hospital cardiac intensive care unit on a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The unit has 16 beds, typical ratios of 2:1 or 1:1, uses Cerner, and supports advanced cardiac care in a Magnet hospital with a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center.

• Monitor and titrate vasoactive, sedative, and paralytic medications
• Care for ventilated and tracheostomy patients in critical care
• Interpret telemetry and support hemodynamic monitoring
• Set up and interpret PA catheters and related data
• Assist with cardioversion and bedside invasive procedures
• Support use of IABP, Impella, CRRT, and hypothermia equipment

• Registered Nurse license in North Carolina
• ICU experience
• Experience with pressors, sedation, paralytics, vents, trachs, and telemetry interpretation
• Hemodynamic monitoring experience
• PA catheter setup and interpretation

• CCRN certification
• IABP experience
• Impella experience
• CRRT experience
