Travel CT Tech in Anchorage, AK

A Travel CT Technologist will perform CT imaging in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Anchorage, Alaska. The department serves inpatient, ER, outpatient and ICU patients, with Cerner charting in a magnet setting.

• Perform CT scans of the head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine and other assigned studies
• Assist with CT angiography, arthrography, myelography and multiplanar reconstruction
• Start peripheral IVs and prepare contrast for imaging procedures
• Support biopsies and drainages as needed
• Work with emergency, inpatient, outpatient and ICU teams to complete studies
• Apply radiation safety and isolation precautions during patient care

• ARRT in Computed Tomography
• ARRT in Radiography
• BLS
• ARRT Advanced certification
• 2 years of CT experience
• Cerner charting system experience
• Community hospital experience
• Trauma Level II experience

• PACS experience
• Level I trauma experience
• Drainage procedures
• Transplant studies
