Travel CT Tech in Anchorage, AK

A Travel CT Tech Radiologic Technologist will provide low-volume CT and Xray coverage in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital on a 26-week contract in Anchorage, Alaska. The unit serves rehabilitation and LTACH/ICU patients, uses Epic, and first-time travelers are welcome.

• Perform CT and Xray imaging for rehabilitation and adult acute care patients
• Prepare patients and review imaging needs before exams
• Start peripheral IVs and prepare contrast media
• Operate CT, portable Xray and C-arm equipment
• Apply radiation safety and isolation precautions
• Document exams in Epic and support PACS workflow

• ARRT CT, ARRT R and BLS
• 1 year of CT experience
• Adult acute care experience
• CT imaging skills with abdomen, chest, head, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, pelvis, musculoskeletal trauma and vascular CTA studies
• Contrast preparation and administration, peripheral IV starts, radiation safety and isolation precautions
• PACS experience and GE and Siemens equipment experience

• Biopsies, brain perfusion and CT arthrography
• Venipuncture
• Epic charting system experience
