Travel CT Tech in Anchorage, AK

A Travel CT Technologist will perform CT imaging in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Anchorage, Alaska. Most volume comes from inpatient and ER patients, with outpatient studies, trauma cases, and Cerner charting in use. GE equipment is used, and first-time travelers are welcome.

• Perform CT scans for abdomen, chest, head, neck, spine, musculoskeletal, vascular, and trauma studies
• Start peripheral IVs and prepare or administer contrast for imaging exams
• Assist with biopsies, drainages, myelography, arthrography, and CTA studies
• Apply radiation safety, isolation precautions, and patient identification practices
• Document exams in Cerner and support multiplanar reconstruction
• Support imaging needs for inpatient, outpatient, emergency, ICU, and pediatric patients

• ARRT CT, ARRT R, ARRT Advanced, and BLS certifications
• 2 years of CT Tech experience
• Cerner charting system experience
• Community hospital and Trauma Level II experience
• CT imaging of adult, pediatric, ICU, emergency department, inpatient, and outpatient patients
• IV starts, contrast administration, venipuncture, radiation safety, GE and Toshiba equipment, and multiplanar reconstruction experience

• PACS experience
• Level I trauma experience
• Drainage procedures
• Transplant studies
