Travel CT Tech in Anchorage, AK

A Travel CT Tech Computed Tomography Technologist will support outpatient imaging in Anchorage, Alaska on a 13-week contract. Most patients are mobile outpatients, many are seen for follow-up cancer care, and Epic is used for charting in a Magnet, Level II trauma hospital. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Perform outpatient CT imaging studies
• Start peripheral IVs and administer contrast media
• Run i-Stat testing for lab support
• Post-process images and check quality
• Support x-ray coverage within scope
• Work with mobile patients across age groups

• ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) credentials
• BLS certification
• One year of CT experience
• Adult outpatient CT experience
• Experience with peripheral IV starts and contrast administration
• Experience with abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, spine and musculoskeletal trauma CT studies

• Fluoroscopy and enema study experience
• Neonatal and infant imaging experience
• Brain perfusion, colonography and CT arthrography experience
• GE or Siemens system experience, PACS familiarity and teaching hospital or Epic charting experience
