Travel CT Tech in Anchorage, AK

A Travel CT Tech will provide CT imaging in a low-volume specialty rehabilitation hospital on a 13-week contract in Anchorage, Alaska. The unit includes CT and xray coverage with Epic charting and adult acute care patients.

• Perform CT imaging studies for adult acute care and rehabilitation patients
• Support xray coverage and portable imaging needs as assigned
• Prepare patients, verify orders, and position for examinations
• Administer contrast and start peripheral IVs as needed
• Follow radiation safety and isolation precautions
• Maintain image quality and assist with GE and Siemens equipment

• ARRT (R)
• ARRT (CT)
• BLS
• 1 year of CT experience
• Adult acute care CT imaging, contrast media, and peripheral IV starts
• GE and Siemens CT equipment experience

• Biopsies, brain perfusion, and CT arthrography
• Epic charting system experience
• Venipuncture
