Travel Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant in Purcell, OK

A Travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant will provide rehabilitation support to residents in a nursing home in Purcell, Oklahoma for a 13-week contract. The role focuses on cognitive and physical recovery needs in an occupational therapy setting under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.

• Provide skilled treatment under Occupational Therapist supervision
• Assist with ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, and modalities
• Use supportive and assistive devices as directed by the supervising therapist
• Monitor patient progress and report treatment effectiveness
• Document care in the electronic record and maintain accurate treatment minutes
• Communicate with patients, families, caregivers, and the care team
• Support discharge planning, meetings, in-services, and student supervision

• Active Oklahoma occupational therapy assistant license
• Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program
• NBCOT and AOTA practice standards
• Ability to work under Occupational Therapist direction
• Experience documenting in an electronic documentation system
