Travel Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant in Wichita, KS

A Travel Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant will provide occupational therapy support in an acute care hospital in Wichita, Kansas for a 13-week contract. The unit handles about 250 active consults each day, uses Meditech, and has a 2:1 OTR to COTA ratio. The role serves a collaborative team and supports care planning with high autonomy across a wide range of acute care diagnoses.

• Deliver occupational therapy treatments to acute care patients
• Support care plans under OTR direction
• Document patient progress in Meditech
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
• Manage an assigned daily caseload
• Assist with general acute care DME use and patient education

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant credential
• Active Kansas Occupational Therapy Assistant license
• BLS certification
• 6 months of acute care hospital occupational therapy experience

• Trauma experience
• Comprehensive stroke experience
