Travel Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant in Lowell, MA

A Travel Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant will support rehabilitation for patients with cognitive and physical functioning disorders in a nursing home occupational therapy unit on a 13-week contract in Lowell, Massachusetts. The role uses electronic documentation and works under an Occupational Therapist's direction.

• Deliver rehabilitative treatment under Occupational Therapist supervision
• Administer ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercise, modalities, and assistive devices
• Monitor patient progress and report treatment effectiveness
• Document treatment minutes and required clinical information in the electronic record
• Educate patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers
• Participate in care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation meetings
• Support DME planning and student supervision under Occupational Therapist guidance

• Massachusetts occupational therapy assistant license
• Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program
• Core skills in ADL retraining, therapeutic exercise, and assistive device use
