Travel Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant in Bakersfield, CA

A Travel Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant will provide prescribed occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of licensed occupational therapists in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Bakersfield, California. The role supports geriatric, orthopedic, neurologic, pediatric, and neonatal rehabilitation, along with splint follow-ups for a range of medical conditions. The role may also mentor staff on technical skills.

• Deliver prescribed occupational therapy treatments under supervision
• Support rehabilitation for geriatric, orthopedic, neurologic, pediatric, and neonatal patients
• Assist with splint follow-up care and related treatment plans
• Observe patient response and report changes to the occupational therapist
• Collaborate with the care team to promote safe progress
• Mentor staff on technical skills when needed

• California Occupational Therapist Assistant license
• Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant credential
• Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program
