Travel Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant in Haverhill, MA

A Travel Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Occupational Therapy Assistant will provide rehabilitative treatment in a nursing home in Haverhill, Massachusetts for a 13-week contract. The role supports patients with cognitive and physical functioning disorders, works under an Occupational Therapist, and documents care in an electronic system.

• Deliver rehabilitative treatment under the direction of an Occupational Therapist
• Administer ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and assistive devices
• Monitor patient progress and report treatment response to the supervising Occupational Therapist
• Document treatment minutes and clinical information in the electronic record
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy plans and functional goals
• Support discharge planning, care conferences, and rehabilitation meetings
• Help coordinate needed DME or supplies and support students under supervision

• Massachusetts Occupational Therapy Assistant license
• Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Knowledge of state practice acts, professional ethics, and electronic documentation
