Travel Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant in Sandwich, MA

A Travel Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant will provide rehabilitative treatment in a nursing home on a 13-week contract in Sandwich, Massachusetts. The role supports patients with cognitive and physical function needs under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, with electronic documentation and team collaboration.

• Deliver skilled treatment under Occupational Therapist direction
• Assist with ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, and modalities
• Support use of assistive devices and other rehabilitation equipment
• Track patient progress and communicate treatment updates to the Occupational Therapist
• Document care accurately in the electronic record
• Provide input for discharge planning and care conferences
• Support patients, families, and caregivers with rehabilitation guidance

• Massachusetts Occupational Therapy Assistant license
• Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Knowledge of rehabilitation treatment for cognitive and physical function disorders
• Strong documentation and communication skills
