Travel Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant in Marlborough, MA

A Travel Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant will provide rehabilitative care in a long term care nursing home occupational therapy unit on a 13-week contract in Marlborough, Massachusetts. The role supports patients with cognitive and physical functioning disorders and documents care in an electronic system under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.

• Deliver skilled rehabilitation interventions under Occupational Therapist supervision
• Guide activities of daily living retraining, therapeutic activities, and therapeutic exercises
• Apply modalities and assistive devices as part of the treatment plan
• Monitor patient progress and update treatments with the Occupational Therapist
• Document treatment minutes, progress notes, and required clinical information
• Communicate care updates, barriers, and discharge planning needs to the team
• Support care conferences, utilization review meetings, and durable medical equipment needs

• Massachusetts occupational therapy assistant license or registration
• Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program
